Increase of Master Event budget
The board has decided to increase the budget of the Master Event from €350 to €750 to reduce the participation fee to an acceptable level. Since many Master students gave up their place on a social so first-year students could join, and Masters could hardly participate in any social event (WoMiBo/VrijMiBo) due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the board finds this more than reasonable.
Since this event will take place on the 16th of October, this could not wait for general approval until the first General Assembly. Therefore, according to our Bylaws, the budget can be adjusted with approval of the Audit Committee and the Advisory Board. This approval was received on the 8th of September. However, also according to our Bylaws, you, as our member, have one week to formally object. You can do this by handing in a signed paper to the board. Then, this budget adjustment will be discussed thoroughly on GA1.
