Renting an External Board Office

The board has decided to create a new budget for the External Board Office costs from €0 to €1000 for the upcoming Candidate Board to provide them a proper workspace where they can write their policy for the upcoming year. Since the board room is still closed for an unknown time and the University maintains strict restrictions it is impossible to expect that it will be opened any time soon. Due to this, the board will hire the office for four continuous months from March to June. The external office will be a COVID-proof work space where the Candidate Board can plan for a structured and well organised upcoming year and moreover create a close connection with each other. 

Since the renting of this office will begin before the End General Assembly it can not wait to ask for general approval. Therefore, according to our Bylaws, the budget can be adjusted with approval of the Audit Committee and the Advisory Board. This approval was received on the 8th of September. However, also according to our Bylaws, you, as our member, have one week to formally object. You can do this by handing in a signed paper to the board. Then, this budget adjustment will be discussed thoroughly on the End General Assembly.
