The board maintains overview of all the activities within the association. It oversees the committees, organizes activities and represents Industrial Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering, and System & Control students on several occasions. In addition, the board plays an important role in the contact with the study, faculty and university.
The following text is a short introduction of ourself.

Jasper Foekens | Chairman

Hi! My name is Jasper Foekens, and I will be the chair of TBV Lugus for the upcoming year. I am from the small village of Haren, just a bike ride away from Groningen, but I have my roots in Delft. Besides Lugus, I enjoy spending my time at different sports associations such as Aegir and TAM, where I mostly watch others practice sports while enjoying a beer on the side. However, please feel free to challenge me in a tennis match, as winning from Pleun gets boring after a while. 
I fell in love with Lugus right away in my first year as a student and joined the (best) committee known, of course, as the Introduction Committee. Having experienced all the fun Lugus has to offer, I decided to sign up for the Board in the hopes that I can convey my enthusiasm for Lugus to others. I am always down for a chat, so you can find me in the Lounge, in the city at night, or at one of the many events of Lugus!

Pleun Barendse | Secretary

Dear all! My name is Pleun Barendse, and I will be the secretary of TBV Lugus for the upcoming year. My parents live in Zwolle, but I was raised in Amersfoort. I love spending time with friends and enjoy doing sports, such as rowing, biking, playing tennis or padel! Last year, I went abroad to Osaka for my minor, which I would really recommend! My Lugus career started with the Activity Committee, whereafter I joined ESTIEM. I am looking forward to seeing all of you in the Lugus Lounge!

Duco Togtema | Treasurer

Hi, my name is Duco Togtema. I am the treasurer of TBV Lugus for the upcoming year. I was raised in the village of Zeewolde in the polder, but moved to Groningen 3 years ago now. I still visit my village almost every weekend since I am very involved with my local scouting club. I have been an active member of Lugus now for 3 years and did two different committees, the Introduction and IT committee. If you have any questions or want to have a drink come find me in the Lugus Lounge!

Olivier Pierik | Commissioner of Public Relations and Education

Hey! I’m Olivier Pierik, and for the upcoming year, I will be the Commissioner of Public Relations and Education for the study association TBV Lugus.

Originally from the village of Hoogeveen in Drenthe, I moved to Groningen for my studies and have enjoyed my time here. Groningen offers a vibrant student life in which it is possible to take on opportunities for fun and challenging experiences. Over the past two years, I've been an active member of Lugus, contributing to the Ski & Sports committee and the LED committee. My next step now is a board year at Lugus, for which I am very excited.

Hopefully, I will see all of you at our events or in the Lugus Lounge!

Tom Spekschoor | Commissioner of Corporate Relations​​​​​​​

Dear all! My name is Tom Spekschoor, and I will be the external for the upcoming year! I was raised in Arnhem and moved to Groningen two years ago. Besides my studies, I love spending time at Aegir or Vijfje (mainly because of the drinks). Furthermore, I like to play padel with my fellow board members but am looking for new opponents because constantly beating my board members becomes too dull after a while.

Before I decided to apply for a board year, I did not have any experience within Lugus! You can always come by in the boardroom if you want a little chat.
