LuGuide applications are open!

Do you want to show what Lugus is all about?

Upcoming year around 140 new students will join our beautiful association. To make sure these first year students get to know Lugus and all its great aspects, LuGuides will be there for them. LuGuides are enthusiastic Lugus members who want to present Lugus towards the new first year students. Together with another LuGuide you will guide around 15 students to Lugus events. Besides that, you are encouraged to organise your own activities to integrate with your group.

What do we expect from you?

- Attend Lugus activities with your group
- Integrate with your group by for instance having dinner prior to events
- Be present at:

• Information meeting (1st of September)
• Faculty Introduction Day (4th of September)
• Introduction Weekend (8th until 10th of September)
• First Year's Activity ( 18th of September)

What is in it for you?

• Get in contact with both first year students and fellow enthusiastic Lugus members

• A free LuGuide shirt

Are you a social person, enthusiastic about our association and want to involve as many first year students with Lugus as possible? All Lugus members can apply and give their preference for a LuGuide-partner, so apply now before the 25 of June 2017 and become a LuGuide!

Your email should contain a motivation letter explaining why you want to become a LuGuide. Please let us know whether you are interested in becoming a mentor as well and if you are interested in having an international group.

Please note: a LuGuide is not the same as the mentorship offered by the University of Groningen.
