Always wanted to know what companies look like on the inside and where you might end up after your study of IEM? From the 21st until the 23rd of November, TBV Lugus organises a three-day excursion to several companies in and around the city of Tilburg. During this excursion, we will stay in a hostel in the centre of Tilburg. Besides the company visits, social activities will be organised as well.

We will visit the following interesting companies:

Unilin
UNILIN, division insulation, belonging to the UNILIN group, produces PIR insulation boards and self-supporting roof panels. This division forms part of the UNILIN group and is active in Europe with several production and sales sites. UNILIN forms part of the American stock-exchange listed company Mohawk Industries, worldwide market leader in flooring. More information can be found here.

VDL
VDL Steelweld is an internationally operating company that is active in production automation, special products, parking systems and engineering services. The company has branches in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Romania, China and India. VDL Steelweld designs, produces and installs robotic production systems, offering a wide range of handling, assembly and joining technologies for industrial applications. XPO
XPO Logistics is one of the top ten global logistics companies. They run their business as one highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets in 32 countries. XPO provides highly engineered solutions for supply chains in the automotive industry, healthcare, food industry and various other disciplines. More information can be found here.

Fujifilm
Fujifilm is known as the world's largest photographic and imaging company. They are also innovating in medicine, highly functional materials, and many other high-tech areas. Nowadays, Fujifilm entities operate in over 55 group companies in Europe and employ more than 4.000 people engaged in R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service support. Please note that there is a preference for 2nd year students and above. As a first year student you can subscribe, but in the case of high demand it is possible that you will be unsubscribed and put on a waiting list. We also encourage master students to subscribe!
