Defensity College is the work-student program of the Ministry of Defense for HBO and university students.

During your studies, we offer you a unique part-time job and train you to become a military professional. For instance, you can apply your technical knowledge to design a communication line between a satellite and a mobile ground station. Assist in drafting scenarios to train military personnel in intercultural communication techniques. Devise sustainable innovations to reduce CO2 emissions on a naval ship, or, as a historian, ensure that we learn from the past. We have both study-specific and general assignments that require analytical thinking skills. Every field of study can make a significant contribution to a safer world, including yours!

As a military work-student, you are a reservist and work in places that are tailored to you and align with your qualities and interests. In uniform, so you also go through a military selection process and receive basic military training. This could be as a military member in the Navy, Army, Air Force, or Military Police. By participating as a professional, you have the opportunity to develop in your field. Every 6 months, you switch workplaces, allowing you to learn about various aspects of Defense. At Defensity College, you'll discover what you're capable of.

Beside your work you will be also participating in training programme where you work on different (military) skills and you will join the Defensity College community where you get to meet students from all parts of the Netherlands!
