Innovation in Supply Chains
This year, on the 25th of April, the Technology and Society Congress discussed the theme of "Innovation in Supply Chains". Every company it trying to improve every single day to stay ahead of the competition. Being innovative and optimising your business are key concepts of the study of IEM. Since all companies are innovative, the speakers were selected based on the innovations made by their particular company. An entire supply chain was walked through using these subthemes:
- Sourcing and Urban Mining
- Production
- Warehousing and Logistics
- Product Service Systems
The congress took place at the Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion and was hosted by Walther Ploos van Amstel. He took care of all transitions and had an interesting story regarding his view on innovation in logistics.
Overall, the day was a great success with many enthusiastic students and companies!
