This year's theme will be 'Decade Developments'. The world is constantly in transition, and with the new decade having made its entry, it is the perfect time to take a moment to reflect on the developments that have taken place over the last decade, but also look at the challenges that companies will face in the current one. The IEM curriculum has a strong link with business and innovation, and it can therefore be very valuable to look at how the context has changed over the past few years and how it will change in the near future, making this a relevant theme. It is expected that this theme will interest all IEM students and related companies. The sub-theme will be: 'How to thrive in 2020', referring to the preference from the committee for companies to focus on the challenges they are facing currently and how these challenges are being dealt with in order to stay on top of their game.
