Association

Melvin Akker has earned his stripes as the Commission of Corporate Relations in the board 2008-2009. During this board year, which came to be known as board “Bigger, Better, Faster”, he managed to double the acquisition set by his predecessor. An achievement that has benefitted the association not only at the time, but has set the professional standard for his successors for years.

Roel Steggink rose to fame in a variety of committees and as treasurer of the board 2019-2020. After his successor dropped out only days prior to the transfer general assembly, Roel voluntarily agreed to extend his board year by half a year. Not only to keep the association running, but ensure that his new successor received the proper preparation and transfer that he deserved. Along with his know-how of accounting and his eye for detail, Roel has contributed his abilities to Lugus for years and years.
