European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management - is the only student network of
IEM associations across Europe. With its 70 local groups in 24 countries ESTIEM represents
more than 45.000 students and has more than 3000 active students. ESTIEM is a network that
supports you in your personal and professional development. It helps you find new friends
from all over Europe and work in international teams! TBV Lugus Groningen is an official
member of this association. The committee ESTIEM is responsible for carrying out the spirit
of ESTIEM to the students of IEM in Groningen and the rest of Europe.
There are plenty of trips you can make to the different Local Groups throughout Europe.
ESTIEM is all about having a good mix between work, gaining academic and cultural
experience and having a cool party afterwards. So you can join us in a case competition
(TIMES), a seminar series (Vision), a Summer Academy, fun Activity Weeks and having
plenty of organizational opportunities.

The committee of 2011-2012 has organized the Vision Kick-off this September. It was a
very successful event. Now the committee is organizing the Local Qualification TIMES in
December. Next up is the Vision in March, the committee will be organizing this event in
collaboration with the Local Group of Enschede.
The theme of the Vision is ‘Crisis and Change Management’. About 15-20 international
students will come to Groningen and Enschede to listen to lectures, participate in the
workshops, visit companies and experience the (night)life of the city.

visit our 'Lugushok'. You will be kept up to date what activities take place and you will have
access to the Estiem web-portal.
